Kristin, the founder and principal designer at Mod-Earth Studio. Her passion for design began early, with weekends spent building detailed worlds in The Sims (#rosebud for those who know!). With a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Architecture, and over 15 years of experience in designing corporate workplaces, she has a deep understanding of creating impactful spaces.

The transition to residential design was inspired by her personal experience of renovating her own home while balancing the demands of motherhood and a full-time corporate design director role. As friends and neighbors sought her expertise for their own home projects, Kristin realized her true passion lay in creating spaces that families can grow into.

To her, a home is more than a space; it’s a reflection of its inhabitants, a place that should spark joy and foster growth. She is excited to help other families create their ideal spaces, whether through a full renovation or a single-room makeover.
